Not bad at all for a first attempt. Solid walk. But you could make it epic with more practice.

I would practice a two legged walk. All an animal walk is, is two sets of human legs walking at different timings. Once you understand the almighty 4:
Contact
Recoil
Passing
Highest
Contact (Loop)

Only other thing is proportions. Make sure the paw is the EXACT same size in each picture. Along with every other part.

Great job and keep animating! :D

Thank you! I would do a two legged walk, but I can't draw humans, so I stick with canines/felines.

Don't even put any effort into the character. Make it sticks. But make sure the legs never get longer or shorter.

Look up the four stages of animating a walk. If you can learn them, they will help anything you animate. ^^

And thank YOU for being open and welcoming to criticism. I can't tell you how important it is to be open to critique.

If an artist wants to grow, they must learn how to become better. If they just want a compliment, then go ask their mom/dad. :P

Keep on practicing!
